On the foothills of the Pyrenees, under the watchful eye of the 2,785 meter high Mount Canigou, the vineyards of Roussillon unfold across a mosaic of wild landscapes. Shaped by the Agly River and bathed in Mediterranean light, this region is striking for the raw force it conveys. <\/p>

In the heart of Northern Catalonia, in Latour-de-France, Roc des Anges embodies the soul of this often overlooked land. Its north-facing hillsides, lying between 100 and 500 metres in altitude, express the freshness, luminosity and purity of this vibrant landscape. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Certified organic since 2008 and biodynamic since 2011, the estate is in a constant pursuit of harmony between soil, vine, and environment. Infusions, composts, and other natural preparations nourish the vineyard, without synthetic shortcuts. The dry, windy climate naturally protects the vines from disease, allowing for minimal intervention.<\/p>

Native Catalan varieties form the heart of the vineyard: Grenache Gris, Blanc, Noir, Macabeu, and Carignan Blanc, Gris, Noir, often from massal selections. Divided into 84 parcels, some over a century old, each vineyard has its own soul, requiring careful, hands-on work. The soils are mostly composed of ancient schist \u2013 flaky, free-draining rock that crumbles beneath the vines\u2019 roots, forcing them to dig deep in search of water and minerals. <\/p>
